Article summary

Overview

At FanYield, we strive to provide accurate and timely scoring for all athletes participating in our Tournaments. However, there may be instances where we do not receive complete statistics from our data partners in real-time due to circumstances beyond our control. This article explains how delayed scoring is handled and what it means for you as a participant.

What is Delayed Scoring?

Delayed scoring occurs when FanYield does not receive the full set of statistics for a player from our data partner in real-time. This can happen for various reasons, such as technical issues, data transmission delays, or weather conditions at the stadiums.

Impact on Tournament Scoring

When we do not receive an athlete’s complete statistics before the scoring for a Tournament is closed (as indicated on the Website), only the statistics that have been received up to that point will be used to determine the player’s definitive scoring for that Fantasy Tournament. This means that the final score may be based on a limited set of data, which could potentially affect the outcome of the Tournament.

User Agreement

By participating in FanYield Tournaments, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Limited Statistics: If complete statistics are not received in time, only the available statistics will be used for scoring.

  • Final Scores: The scores determined based on the available statistics are final and will not be adjusted later, even if the complete statistics are received after the Tournament has closed.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our support team. We are here to help and ensure your experience with FanYield is as smooth as possible.
