Understanding IPO (Initial Player Offering) on FanYield

FanYield introduces a unique feature called Initial Player Offering (IPO), where users can acquire new Players. This guide will help you understand how IPO works and how to get started.

Player Issuance

When new Players are first issued on FanYield, users have the opportunity to obtain them by purchasing IPO Packs.

IPO Packs

IPO Packs are multiple series of IPO Choices which enables users to pick their prefered players.

Thes IPO Choices are bundled into a single item called an “IPO Pack.”

Here’s how it works:

1. Acquiring an IPO Pack

To start the process of IPO Choices, you need to acquire an IPO Pack. Here’s how you can do it:

• Purchasing an IPO Pack: Navigate to the IPO section on the FanYield website.

• Payment: The price of the IPO Pack will be deducted from your Cash Balance upon purchase.

  

2. Navigating IPO Choices

Once you have an IPO Pack, you can start making your selections:

• Series of Choices: Each IPO Pack may include a series of IPO Choices, where you pick one Player from three options.

• Shares Awarded: Each choice grants you a certain number of shares of the selected Player.

  

3. IPO Pool

When you purchase IPO Packs, the proceeds go into a transparent bank account known as the “IPO Pool.” Here’s how it works:

• Proceeds Allocation: The funds in the IPO Pool are used to redistribute rewards to Player owners.

• Transparency: The use of a transparent bank account ensures fairness and accountability in the distribution of rewards.

4. Handling Service Interruptions

FanYield ensures a smooth experience, but in the event of a service interruption or technical problem, here’s what you need to know:

• Service Interruption: If an interruption occurs that is unforeseeable and/or outside of FanYield's reasonable control, your IPO Pack opening may be paused.

• Guaranteed Choices: You are guaranteed to receive the IPO Choices that were denied due to the interruption once the issue is resolved.

By understanding and utilizing the IPO process on FanYield, you can strategically acquire new Players and potentially enhance your sports fantasy results.
