Dividends Settlement Time on FanYield

Understanding when and how your dividends are credited is crucial for effectively managing your portfolio on FanYield.

Here’s a comprehensive guide on dividends settlement time.

When Are Dividends Credited?

Standard Settlement Time

- Reward Event Occurs: Whenever a Reward Event takes place, such as a player you own scoring a goal or providing an assist, you become eligible for dividends as long as you own the player until 3:00 AM of the following day.

- Next Day Credit: The dividends from these Reward Events are credited to your Cash Balance the following day at 4:00 AM.

Example:

If your player scores a goal on a Tuesday, the dividends for that event will be credited to your Cash Balance by 4:00 AM on Wednesday.

Handling Delays Due to Third Party Data

Possible Delays:

- Third Party Data Dependency: FanYield relies on third-party data to confirm and process Reward Events. Occasionally, there may be delays in receiving this data.

- Impact on Settlement Time: If the third-party data required to process the dividends is delayed, the standard settlement time of 4:00 AM the next day may not be met.

Adjusted Settlement Time

- Next Closest Day: In cases where third-party data delays occur, the dividends will be credited to your Cash Balance at 4:00 AM on the next closest day after the data is received.

Example:

If a player scores on a Tuesday but there is a delay in receiving the necessary third-party data, the dividends may not be credited on Wednesday. Instead, they will be credited at 4:00 AM on the next day after the data is received, which could be Thursday or later.

Unpaid Dividends

- Unpaid Dividends: This term is used by FanYield to refer to cash that has not yet been paid but will be credited to the user’s Cash Balance at the next settlement time.

Tracking Unpaid Dividends

- Visibility: Users can view their Unpaid Dividends in their account in Portfolio page. This allows you to see what rewards are pending and will be credited soon.

Example:

If your player scores a goal on Tuesday, but there is a delay in data, the reward will be listed as Unpaid Dividends. Once the data is received, the dividends will be credited at the next available settlement time.

Summary

- Standard Time: Dividends from Reward Events are credited at 4:00 AM the day after the event.

- Delay Handling: If third-party data is delayed, dividends will be credited at 4:00 AM on the next closest day after the data is received.

- Unpaid Dividends: Cash rewards that have not yet been paid but are pending will be listed as Unpaid Dividends and will be credited to your Cash Balance at the next settlement time.

By understanding this settlement process, you can better manage your expectations and plan your strategy on FanYield. Should you have any questions or encounter any issues with your dividends, feel free to contact our support team for assistance.
