How to Cancel a Buy or Sell Order on FanYield

FanYield allows users to place buy and sell orders for players, similar to trading stocks. However, there might be situations where you need to cancel an order. 

This guide will walk you through the steps to cancel a buy or sell order on FanYield.

Steps to Cancel a Buy or Sell Order

1. Log In to Your Account

- Open the FanYield app or visit the website.

- Log in to your account using your credentials.

2. Navigate to Transactions

- From the main menu, select the “Transactions" section. This is where you can view all your current buy and sell orders.

3. View Active Orders

-Transaction section has multiple bookmarks. Select the Orders bookmark, you will see a list of your active buy and sell orders.

- Locate the specific order you wish to cancel. Orders will typically be listed with details such as the player’s name, order type (buy/sell), limit price, filled quantity and total quantity.

4. Select the Order to Cancel

- Click on the order you want to cancel. This will open the button "Cancel".

5. Cancel the Order

- Click on “Cancel” button within the order row.

- Click on “Cancel” will initiate the order cancellation process.

Important Notes

- Timing: Orders can only be canceled if they have not yet been matched and executed on the FanYield exchange. Once an order is matched, it cannot be canceled.

- Fees: Cancellation fees are nonexistent, meaning you will not pay any fee for canceling a fee.

- Service Interruptions: In the rare event of a service interruption or technical issue, you may not be able to cancel orders immediately. FanYield will resolve such issues promptly, and you can retry canceling the order once the service is restored.

Q: Can I cancel a partially filled order?  

A: Yes, you can cancel the remaining unfilled portion of a partially filled order. The filled portion of the order cannot be undone.

Q: How long does it take for a canceled order to be removed from my account?

A: Canceled orders are removed from your account immediately after you confirm the cancellation.

Q: What happens if I try to cancel an order during a service interruption?

A: If a service interruption occurs, you may not be able to cancel orders temporarily. FanYield will address the issue, and you can cancel the order once the service is restored.
